Red Wings Finish 2nd in Arizona

The HSL Prep division was represented in Phoenix by both the Red Wings Hockey Club and the Saints Pro Hockey Academy over the past weekend.

Both teams experienced great success going up against some stiff competition in the Bantam AA division at the Cactus Cup. The Saints Pro Hockey Academy went 2-1 in the qualifying round but were then upended 3-2 in their quarter final which subsequently ended their tournament. Our other HSL representative in the Bantam AA division, the Red Wings Hockey Club went 3-0 in the qualifying round and then won their next two to qualify for the championship final where they were handed a 4-0 defeat to bring home a silver medal.

From the Friday night Coyotes/Penguins game, to the tournament games, to dressing room tours all of our HSL teams thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We thank the organizers of the Cactus Cup and thank them for their organization and hospitality.
