Can West 2006 Thunder visit Hope Mission

The 2006 Thunder volunteered at the Hope Mission before the holidays.

 

The shifts only allow a maximum of 10 boys at a time so 10 boys and 5 parent volunteers served lunch at the Hope Mission on Saturday.  Our parent volunteers consisted of some moms, one coach and one grandma.  They all helped prepare, serve and clean up the meal.

One family also knitted more than 60 warm items which they donated.  As well, another family collected more than 50 Christmas cards and delivered them to the mission.

They will be attending to volunteer again in the new year.
