Capital City Knights visit Boyle Street Community Center and provide donations

Capital City Knights donated 17 backpacks full of personal items, gloves, toques, long johns, etc. to the Boyle Street Community Centre. 

 

We met at the Downtown Arena and then walked over. 

 

The team spent 30 minutes inside and were provided a tour and explanation of how the shelter operates. This inner city shelter provides support for at least 100 people on a daily basis. 

It was a tremendous learning experience for our team and provided a forum for our players to learn just how fortunate they are.
