The Saints Pro Hockey Academy rode a dynamic offensive performance and capitalized on key power plays to secure a 5-3 road victory over the Rebels Hockey Academy. The game was a penalty-filled affair from the start, with both teams taking early trips to the box. It was the Saints who struck first, capitalizing on a Rebels penalty as Ivan Rawluk (#88) netted a shorthanded goal at 8:28 of the first period, assisted by Jamal Caseley (#91). That set the tone for a second period where the Saints took control. Rawluk added his second of the night at 12:21, followed by a goal from Jamal Caseley (#91) at 10:16, with Wilhelm Hartmann (#19) picking up assists on both plays. Caseley then completed a stellar period by scoring the eventual game-winner on the power play at 2:23, again with help from Hartmann. The Rebels finally broke through late in the second when Ethan Dyck (#9) scored at 1:52, with helpers from nixon radke (#93) and Gunner Bohning (#19), to give the home side a flicker of hope.
The Rebels carried that momentum into the third, with nixon radke (#93) cutting the deficit to a single goal just 1:51 into the frame, making it 4-2. However, the Saints quickly snuffed out the comeback bid. Jack Wheeler (#96) restored the two-goal cushion at 12:36, assisted by Liam Shoquist (#11). The Rebels' Cash Pederson (#96) made things interesting with a goal at 8:09, assisted by Dominik Rhode (#16) and Memphis Belanger (#13), bringing the score to 5-3. Despite a late push, the Rebels could not solve Saints netminder Kyston Tremblay (#77) again. The penalty box saw heavy traffic all night, with Rebels' Gage Moe (#29) taking two cross-checking minors and Saints' Jack Kronewitt (#29) whistled twice for hooking. In the end, the Saints' efficient offense, led by two-goal nights from Ivan Rawluk and Jamal Caseley, proved too much for the Rebels to overcome.
