The back-and-forth action continued into the second period as Bodell struck again for the Grizzlies, notching his second goal of the night with Skulsky and Ben Hull providing the setup. But the Saints began to find their rhythm, with Benton Creech tying the game once more before Matthews delivered the game-winner in the final minute of the period, assisted by Luke Hargrave and Schultz.
The third period belonged entirely to the visitors as the Saints tightened their defensive play and capitalized on their opportunities. Keaton Niles extended the lead early in the frame, and Carson Rath sealed the victory with a final goal in the closing seconds, assisted by Jett Holmes. Despite a valiant effort from Grizzlies' goalie Benoit Sauvé, who faced a barrage of 23 shots, the Saints' offensive pressure proved too much to handle. Mason Hayden stood tall in the Saints' net, turning away all 13 shots he faced to secure the win.
Penalties played a role throughout the contest, with both teams taking turns in the box. The Grizzlies' Blake Holwell took a holding minor late in the third, but by then the Saints had already built an insurmountable lead. Standout performances from Saints' Sam Matthews and Landon Schultz, who each tallied a goal and an assist, along with Keaton Niles' two-point night, powered the Academy to a decisive road victory, showcasing their depth and finishing ability against a determined Grizzlies squad.
