The Sauce Hockey Academy unleashed a relentless offensive barrage, particularly in a dominant second period, to secure a decisive 10-5 victory over the Warriors Hockey Academy. The game started with a flurry of action, as the Warriors' River Andrews opened the scoring early. Nash Reschny then capitalized on a power play, assisted by Meyer Rokosh, to give the Warriors a 2-0 lead. However, Sauce Hockey quickly responded, with Rhett Pittner and Zennon Schultz scoring to knot the game at 2-2 by the end of a penalty-filled first period. The tide turned completely in the middle frame, where Sauce Hockey erupted for seven unanswered goals. Walter Legere was the engine of the onslaught, finishing with a hat trick and two assists, while Bailey Gravelle netted two, including the game-winner. Caleb Babiuk and Cole Sabourin also found the net as Sauce Hockey fired an incredible 20 shots in the period, overwhelming Warriors goaltender Ryker Caffet.
Despite the lopsided score, the Warriors showed resilience in the third period, outshooting their opponents 12-2 and adding two more goals to their tally. Bentley Argue and Karter Paulgaard, with an assist from Declan MacLeod, provided late consolation markers for the home side. For Sauce Hockey, goaltender Maxwell Kane earned the win, facing 23 shots, while his counterpart Caffet was under constant siege, facing 37 shots in the loss. The game was a special teams battle early, with both a power play and a shorthanded goal scored in the first period, but Sauce Hockey's even-strength dominance proved to be the ultimate difference in a high-scoring affair.
