The Young Kings Hockey team put on an offensive clinic against the Wolverines Hockey Academy, cruising to a staggering 14-0 victory in a game that was defined by one-way traffic from the opening faceoff. The Kings established their dominance early, outshooting the Wolverines 18-0 in the first period alone. Lowen Tailfeathers opened the scoring with the game-winning goal, assisted by Jackson Pregernig, setting the tone for what would become a relentless offensive display. Hunter Lee quickly followed with his first of the night, and the Kings never looked back, building a commanding lead while stifling any attempt by the Wolverines to generate offense.
The second period saw the Kings continue their onslaught, firing 22 shots on net while the Wolverines managed just two. Hunter Lee completed a natural hat-trick, adding two more goals to his tally, including a power play marker. Jackson Pregernig and Owen Siemens also found the back of the net as the Kings capitalized on their chances. The period was marred by penalties, with Indiana Topola taking two minors for the Wolverines and Thatcher Zaina receiving a boarding minor followed by a major for an illegal check to the head, putting his team in significant penalty trouble.
Any hope of a Wolverines comeback was extinguished in the third period as the Kings poured in six more goals. Raine Lehmann, Hunter Lee, Beckett Cochrane, Marek Ohler, and Boswell Koliaska (with two) all scored, with Nixon Undershute adding the final goal with just 31 seconds remaining. The story of the game, however, was in the nets, where Treyton Komaromi recorded a perfect shutout for the Kings, turning aside all shots he faced, while Cohen Darragh faced an incredible 56 shots for the Wolverines in a valiant but overwhelmed effort. The Young Kings' comprehensive team performance, led by Hunter Lee's five-goal outburst, showcased their offensive firepower in a game they controlled from start to finish.
