The Saints Pro Hockey Academy came out firing on all cylinders and never looked back, overwhelming the HDC Bandits in an 8-2 road victory. From the opening faceoff, the Saints established a relentless forecheck, outshooting the Bandits 13-4 in the first period. Despite taking two early penalties, the Saints struck first on a shorthanded goal by Cole McGregor late in the period. Ashton McAdam then doubled the lead with a goal in the final second of the period, assisted by Colten Rice, setting the tone for the offensive explosion to come.
The second period was a masterclass in offensive pressure from the Saints. After the Bandits' Charlie Joy scored on the power play to cut the deficit to 2-1, the game appeared to be tightening up. However, the Bandits' Colton Toner answered just 66 seconds later to tie the game, assisted by Amare Chiang. The tie was shockingly short-lived. Just eight seconds after Toner's goal, Turner Mobley scored the eventual game-winner for the Saints, assisted by Colten Rice and Theodore Duiker. This sparked a stunning four-goal outburst in under six minutes, with Ashton McAdam, Greyson Hayes, and Jace Filewich all finding the back of the net to give the Saints a commanding 6-2 lead heading into the final frame.
The third period saw the Saints continue to pour it on, outshooting the weary Bandits 11-1. Nash Chetek, Jace Filewich, and Turner Mobley—who netted his second of the game—all scored to complete the 8-2 rout. The Saints' offensive depth was on full display, with multi-point games from Ashton McAdam (2 goals, 1 assist), Turner Mobley (2 goals), Colten Rice (2 assists), and Bowen Herman (2 assists). A parade to the penalty box for infractions like boarding and tripping did little to slow the Saints' momentum, as they capitalized on their chances and delivered a complete team performance to secure a decisive win.
