The Rebels Hockey Academy put on a clinic against Northern HC, cruising to a decisive 9-2 victory in a game that showcased their explosive offensive depth. The tone was set early when Barrett Nellis opened the scoring for the Rebels at 11:05 of the first period. Northern HC struggled to stay disciplined, taking a slashing penalty from Benson Rae, and the Rebels capitalized immediately. On the ensuing power play, Cache Kelly netted his first of the game with an assist from Parker Lofstrom with just 1:22 left in the opening frame, giving the visitors a 2-0 lead and all the momentum heading into the first intermission.
Any hopes of a Northern HC comeback were quickly extinguished in a wild second period. The Rebels exploded for five goals, turning the game into a rout. Cooper Jones scored the game-winner just 1:20 into the period, assisted by Taid Jones. This was followed by a blistering sequence where Luke Clark and Jack Clement scored just ten seconds apart, both assisted by Hendrix Beaupre, to stretch the lead to 5-0. Northern HC managed a brief response as Emmett Tomlinson buried a goal from Taysen Couillonneur and Everett Manderscheid, but the Rebels' offense was relentless. Taid Jones scored a goal of his own, and Cache Kelly netted his second of the night before the period was out, sending the Rebels into the final period with a commanding 7-1 advantage.
The third period saw more of the same offensive pressure from the Rebels. Kaden Cameron extended the lead just 38 seconds in, assisted by Barrett Nellis. Northern HC's Chaz Hall managed to find the back of the net midway through the period, but any flicker of momentum was snuffed out when Luke Clark scored his second goal of the game, sealing the 9-2 final. The Rebels' balanced attack, with nine different players hitting the scoresheet, proved too much for Northern HC to handle, as they were outshot 23-17 in a comprehensive team victory for the Academy.
