The North Stars Hockey Academy delivered an offensive clinic against the HDC Bandits, cruising to a commanding 13-3 victory in a game that showcased their relentless attack. From the opening faceoff, the North Stars established control, with Hudson Murray and Lukas Hafso connecting twice in the first period to build an early lead. Murray's second goal of the period, assisted by Tatum Streeter and Tayson Tomchuk, proved to be the game-winner as the North Stars built a comfortable advantage. The Bandits struggled to contain the offensive onslaught, with goaltender Ryder McLenehan facing a barrage of shots throughout the contest.
Despite the lopsided score, the Bandits showed flashes of resilience with Leyton Mcconachie scoring twice and Myles Francis adding a goal in the second period. Mcconachie's first was an unassisted effort, while his second came with help from Caiden Keehn and Samuel Agha. Francis found the net with assists from Kayson Gulka and Manavjot Boparai. However, penalties proved costly for both sides, with the Bandits' Mcconachie taking an illegal check to the head minor and Boparai called for cross-checking, while the North Stars saw Roycen Krysta and Tatum Streeter sent to the box for infractions.
The third period saw the North Stars completely take over, scoring six unanswered goals to put the game out of reach. Tayson Tomchuk, William Lychak, and Barrett Danilkewich all found the back of the net in quick succession, while Lukas Hafso completed his hat trick and Tatum Streeter added his second of the game. The offensive explosion was fueled by crisp passing and relentless pressure, with Eric Danko capping the scoring late in the period. While the Bandits fought until the final whistle, they simply had no answer for the North Stars' balanced attack that saw multiple players contribute to the scoring barrage in this decisive victory.
