From the opening faceoff, the North Stars established their dominance, launching a relentless offensive assault that saw them score six unanswered goals in the first period alone. William Lychak opened the floodgates early, followed quickly by Kyptin Rockett, Hudson Murray, Eric Danko, Tayson Tomchuk, and Lukas Hafso in a stunning display of firepower. The Bandits' defense was simply overwhelmed as the North Stars outshot them 21-6 in the opening frame, setting the tone for the entire contest.
The second period saw more of the same offensive onslaught from the North Stars, though the Bandits managed to get on the board with two goals from Caiden Keehn.
