The Rebels Hockey Academy unleashed an offensive onslaught from the opening faceoff, setting the tone for a decisive 15-2 victory over the Bow Valley Stars. The Rebels' attack was relentless, firing 12 shots in the first period alone and finding the back of the net four times. Brody Ferguson (#14) opened his account with a pair of goals, including the eventual game-winner, while Bohen Anderson (#96) and Wesley Wiens (#8) also beat the Stars' netminder to establish a commanding 4-0 lead after one. The Rebels' dominance was not just offensive; goalie Madson Venhola (#74) was a brick wall in the crease, turning aside every shot he faced in the period.
The second period saw the floodgates truly open, despite a brief response from the Stars. Bow Valley's Hudson Ho (#9) and Jagger Kildaw (#77) managed to solve Venhola, but those were the only blemishes on an otherwise perfect night for the Rebels' goaltender. The Rebels answered with six goals of their own in the middle frame. Anderson completed his hat-trick, Ferguson added two more to his tally for a four-goal game, and Kyson Cloutier (#5) also lit the lamp. The Rebels' offensive machine was firing on all cylinders, outshooting the Stars 18-9 in the period and demonstrating a level of puck possession and finishing that the visitors simply could not match.
Any hope of a Bow Valley comeback was extinguished in the final period as the Rebels poured in five more goals. Anderson was the story, adding two more to finish with an incredible five-goal performance, while William Rhodes (#9), Shay Morgan (#3), and Reet Urban (#7) all found the scoresheet. The only interruption to the Rebels' flow was a late body-checking penalty to Urban, a minor footnote in an otherwise flawless team performance. In net, Madson Venhola was spectacular, stopping 14 of 16 shots for the win, while the Rebels' offense fired a staggering 46 shots on the beleaguered Stars' goaltending tandem in a display of pure, unadulterated dominance.
