The Bandits showed early fight, with Rowan Ellsworth opening the scoring midway through the first period. Jett Gaulton then doubled the home lead with a shorthanded tally, capitalizing on a penalty to Hunter Murphy. But the Rebels' power play answered back before the period ended, as Declan Salmon scored twice in quick succession, including a power-play marker, to knot the game at 2-2 heading into the intermission.
Any momentum the Bandits had was completely erased in a wild and penalty-filled second period. The Rebels exploded for eight goals, turning a tie game into a rout. Brady Sodergren put the visitors ahead for good just 13 seconds into the frame. Wyatt MacLeod briefly brought the Bandits back within one, but the Rebels' special teams took over. Nash Shuman netted the game-winner on the power play, and from there, the floodgates opened. Easton Cameron scored twice, including a power-play goal, while Bohen Anderson was a force with two goals and three assists, adding a shorthanded strike for good measure. Kyson Cloutier and another from Sodergren rounded out the period's scoring, showcasing a devastatingly balanced Rebels attack that overwhelmed the Bandits' defense.
The third period offered little more than a formality, with the Rebels comfortably managing their large lead. While the Bandits' goalies faced a barrage of 36 shots, the Rebels' defensive effort limited the home team to just 22 attempts, sealing a comprehensive road win.
